These directions are for copying one assignment at a time. These can be assignments that you have created, one that a colleague shared with you, a Peerceptiv-curated assignment, or an Institution Template assignment. Copying an assignment allows you to make an exact copy of the assignment description, settings, and rubric. You will need to edit the deadlines and form any groups, if needed, before the students begin the assignment.

Copy an Assignment: These can be any assignments that you have created or are shared with you by a colleague or Peerceptiv.
Copy an Institution Template Assignment: These are assignments that are available to all instructors at your institution.
Copy an Assignment
These directions cover how to copy an assignment in Peerceptiv. If you are using an LMS, please create a new assignment-level link in your LMS course first.
If you are NOT using an LMS, click New Assignment.
If you are using an LMS, you will click your newly created assignment link. The first time you click the assignment-level link in the LMS, you will see the course creation screen. Create the course and then you will see the assignment creation screen. Click "Copy an Assignment."
Scroll for an assignment name or use the search bar. Select an assignment to copy.
Next, edit the assignment title and description, if needed, and click Next.
View the rubric categories to make sure that this is the correct assignment, and click Next.
Then set any other settings options, including the deadlines, and click Next and then Finish. You can return to the settings and rubric to make additional changes after the assignment is in the course.
Copy an Institution Template Assignment
To copy an assignment that is available to all users at your institution, you should start by creating the assignment in your LMS. These assignments are only available if you are accessing Peerceptiv via the LMS.
1. Select the option to Copy an Assignment.
2. Scroll down to the INSTITUTION TEMPLATE ASSIGNMENTS section or type in part of the assignment name, if you know it, into the search bar. Copy from the INSTITUTION TEMPLATE ASSIGNMENTS section.
3. Enter the Assignment Name that matches the LMS assignment name (if applicable). You can edit the assignment description, grade release, and deadlines. Click Finish to add the assignment to your course.
4. You can continue to the assignment dashboard and continue to edit the assignment. You can edit the rubric, other assignment settings, and set up groups or sections, if applicable.
