After you have integrated Peerceptiv into your LMS (or logged in directly) and set up a course, you'll want to create an assignment. The easiest and fastest way to get started is by choosing a standard workflow.
These standard workflows will put an assignment into your course with minimal setup, using our default settings and phases. After you select a workflow, you will simply need to edit the assignment settings (if needed) and add a rubric that aligns with your assignment expectations and you'll be ready to go.
Individual Peer Assessment Workflow
In this workflow, individual students will submit their work during the submission phase, peers are required to review each other's submissions during the review phase, and then submitters read their review comments and rate them for helpfulness during the feedback phase.
If you do not want your assignment to have a feedback phase, please close this window to return to the Choose an assignment creation method screen and select Build a Custom Assignment.
Group Peer Assessment Workflow
In this workflow, student groups upload one submission per group during the submission phase, then each individual in the group is required to review other group submissions during the review phase, and finally the group reads the reviews their work received and rates the review comments for helpfulness during the feedback phase.
Team Member Evaluation
The Team Member Evaluation workflow requires students to evaluate their group members' or class members' participation and contributions to a shared activity or project. Students will receive grades based on the mean score that they receive from their peers. This workflow has a pre-built rubric that you can use as-is or edit as needed.
Live Presentations - Individuals Workflow
In this workflow, individual students can give live presentations and peers are required to review each other's non-anonymous submissions. Students can either be required to review all peer presentations or you can limit the number of presentations each student is required to review.
Live Presentations - Groups Workflow
In this workflow, groups of students can give live presentations and peers are required to review each group's non-anonymous submission. Students can either be required to review all group presentations or you can limit the number of presentations each student is required to review.
After you select a workflow, enter the title, choose the deadlines, and it will be put into your course. If you are using Peerceptiv with an LMS, please copy and paste the assignment name from the LMS into Peerceptiv. You will then edit the assignment settings (if needed) and add a rubric that aligns with your assignment expectations and you'll be ready to go!
