Reporting a Peer's Submission
If you are reviewing a submission and there is a problem with it (for instance, it fails to load or causes an error message in the reviewing window, or there is plagiarism or harassment), you can now alert your instructor by reporting the submission. Click on the flag icon at the top of the reviewing screen.
Next, select the reason why you are notifying your instructor of the problem. Include any information that will help your instructor understand why you flagged that submission. Then, select 'I can finish my review on this submission' if you are able to accurately assess the quality of work despite needing to send it to your instructor. Keep that box unchecked if you are not able to review this submission and need a new submission to review. Please note that you may be asked to continue reviewing this submission if your instructors chooses. Click Report to report the submission to your instructor.
You will receive an email notification from Peerceptiv letting you know if your report was approved or rejected. If it was rejected, you may need to complete that review.
Reporting a Peer's Comment
If you are giving feedback on a comment and you cannot view it or it seems inappropriate, you can flag the comment to let your instructor know. Click on the the three dots to the right of the comment and then Report.
Then, fill out the rest of the form, giving your instructor additional information and stating whether you can continue to give feedback or if you need your instructor to see the reported comment before you continue.
If you say that you can give feedback, you must finish this task before the deadline. If you say that you cannot finish giving feedback, you are not required to finish the feedback until your instructor has looked at it and made a decision. If your instructor agrees that you cannot give feedback, you will be given a full feedback task score for completing all required feedback tasks but this review will be deleted. If your instructor feels that you should be able to give feedback, then you will need to complete the task before the feedback deadline for a full task grade.
Note: If your comment was reported and the instructor believes that it is inappropriate or cannot be viewed, the review will be deleted. Your task grade will be lowered as a result of having at least one fewer review than required.
