Group sync allows the instructor to transfer groups in the LMS (Brightspace, Blackboard, or Canvas) to the Peerceptiv assignment. It is available to users in programs with a Peerceptiv campus-wide license who are accessing Peerceptiv through the LMS. Please contact email@example.com for more information about configuring Peerceptiv for group sync with your LMS.
For group sync to work, you must already have the groups set up in the LMS and have created a Peerceptiv group or Team Member Evaluation assignment. You do NOT need to have uploaded your roster. You can upload your roster at the same time as you sync the groups.
From the assignment overview screen, click Group Management on the left navigation bar.
Next, click LMS Group Sync at the top center. (It may include the name of your LMS on the button.)
You may be asked to confirm your identify through the LMS and select which group(s) that you are going to copy. It will then go to a blank screen. This is intentional. Go back to the LMS and click on the assignment link. Then, click Group Management on the left nav bar in Peerceptiv to check that the groups have been created correctly.
If you need to change the groups, you can drag and drop students from one group to another. If students add or drop the course, click LMS Group Sync again to update the groups.
- Be sure to choose the correct groups from the LMS. If your course has multiple groups, select the set of groups for this current assignment.
- Groups are set for each group or team member evaluation assignment. If you have multiple assignments with the same groups, you will still need to sync the groups for each assignment.
