Whether you are using Peerceptiv directly on the Peerceptiv website or using Peerceptiv as an external learning tool in your Learning Management System (LMS), you can copy past assignments easily.
If you are using Peerceptiv in your LMS, start by creating a new assignment in the LMS. (Find directions here for Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace by D2L or email email@example.com for other LMS directions). Then, when you click on that assignment link, it will take to the assignment wizard. Please note that you cannot create a new assignment without starting in the LMS. Then, start at step 2.
If you are using Peerceptiv on the Peerceptiv website, you will need to click on Course Overview.
1.Then, click Assignments in the top navy bar and then select New Assignment.
2. LMS Users - start here after creating the assignment in your LMS first. Once you are in the Create New Assignment wizard, you'll see the Copy a Past Assignment option in blue at the top of the page.
When you select this Copy a Past Assignment link, you'll be directed to a list of all your past assignments presented with the most recent assignments on top.
Then, you'll be directed to a screen where you can enter a new assignment name and select new deadlines. Click the orange "Copy Assignment" button to save your deadlines and copy the assignment.
Alternatively, you can use the My Library link under the Assignments menu to explore and copy past assignments. However, you must enroll in Peerceptiv's Shared Assignment Library to do so.
IMPORTANT: After copying in the assignment and editing the settings, please check the assignment's deadline time. Go Course Overview and then click on Manage Assignment for that assignment. Scroll down to the blue button that says Edit Deadlines and click Update. This will transfer the course-level deadline to this assignment; there is no need to do anything but click Update if the dates are correct. To check that the deadline is correct, click Edit Deadlines again and verify that the time matches the course-level deadline you set when you created the course.
